When you create content to build brand awareness, ‘likes’ let you know that audiences found it of value.
But views lets you know how many eyes saw brand-related content – and that’s important to know. Granted, not all views are from interested people but the algorithms thought so. The platform’s algorithms show content to users they think will find your content useful which means it’s likely a percentage of your ideal customer base got to see your content.
Content creators concentrate more on likes and followers that often views become an underestimated although significant stat. In time, if your brand consistently creates content that fans find practical and useful, views become likes. And people who like our content are more likely to become our customers.
