I had an amazing Instagram Live session with Toyan Oriogun recently in the lead-up to this Friday’s BLOSSOMING INTO YOU event, and I wanted to share some valuable insights that came up during our discussion.
One burning question that surfaced was about finding the right balance between maintaining an active presence on social media and safeguarding your mental health. We often hear advice from the experts encouraging us to post constantly, but it’s essential to prioritise your well-being.
I firmly believe in consistency, but not at the expense of your health. Many of us are juggling social media alongside other responsibilities, and we’re the sole creators and managers of our content for brand visibility.
It’s crucial to remember that taking breaks is just as important as staying consistent. Not only should you step away from the work, but also from the information overload that social media can sometimes bring.
Remember, it’s okay not to be online all the time.
Moreover, let’s acknowledge that social media doesn’t always leave us feeling our best. It’s essential to be mindful of its impact on your self-esteem and emotional well-being.
In other news, I had a fantastic coaching session last Saturday, and here’s what one of the participants had to say:
“The session was informative, and Bess tailored it to meet my needs. She answered all my questions and provided follow-on resources. I highly recommend it!” – Oma Read more
